The New Jersey chapter of the National Association for Developmental Education is planning its 2013 conference, and the New Jersey Association for Lifelong Learning (NJALL) has again graciously invited us to be a part of their annual conference, to be held Friday, May 10, 2013, at the Warren Center at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. Please consider proposing a presentation for the conference.
The registration cost is $100. Register online at the NJALL site: www.njall.org. Keep in mind, register for the conference with NJALL but submit any NJADE proposals to NJADE, not to NJALL - send to NJADE President Jay Peterson at jpeterso@atlantic.edu.
Presentations should address as wide an audience as possible. For example, your audience may include teachers of ABE, ESL, GED, developmental, and first-year college students and other student services, such as counseling, advising, tutoring, and testing.
To submit a proposal:
NJADE will have four presentation opportunities on Friday, May 10. In order to set the conference sessions, we will need to have your proposals by close of business, March 15, 2013. Complete the proposal form and send it as an attachment to jpeterso@atlantic.edu. Acceptance notifications will be sent immediately after.
