Call for Proposals (Deadline: 3/30/12)

Colleagues:

The New Jersey chapter of the National Association for Developmental Education is planning its 2012 conference, and the New Jersey Association for Lifelong Learning (NJALL) has again graciously invited us to be a part of their annual conference, to be held Friday, May 11, 2012, at the Foundation for Educational Administration Conference Center in Monroe Township. Please consider proposing a presentation for the conference.

The registration cost is $75. Register online at the NJALL site: www.njall.org. Keep in mind, register for the conference with NJALL but submit any NJADE proposals to NJADE, not to NJALL.

Presentations should address as wide an audience as possible. For example, your audience may include teachers of ABE, ESL, GED, developmental, and first-year college students and other student services, such as counseling, advising, tutoring, and testing.

NJADE will have a few presentation opportunities on Friday, May 11. In order to set the conference sessions, we will need to have your proposals by March 30, 2012.

To submit a proposal:
Complete the proposal form and send it as an attachment to jpeterso@atlantic.edu. It can be copied and pasted into a Word document by clicking the green title of this post. Or, you can email jpeterso@atlantic.edu for an attached file to complete. The deadline for submitting proposals is March 30, 2012. Acceptance notifications will be sent immediately after.

NJALL/NJADE looks forward to a high level of participation. Thank you for your involvement! In addition to any proposals, please direct inquiries to me at jpeterso@atlantic.edu.
